AirHelp.com has recently released a new ranking of the world’s airlines. The highest ranking American airline barely makes it into the top 30.
United Airlines best in the US
US Airlines have been subject to a lot of criticism lately and this seems to have had an impact on people’s perception of the companies. It is however interesting to see that United Airlines, who are currently going through a PR crisis, have managed to secure the top spot among the US carriers. They are ranked as the 29th best airline in the world.
European airlines on the other hand occupy 6 of the top 10 positions whilst Singapore Airlines, Etihad and Qatar Airways rank as the top 3 airlines in the world. The Irish ultra low-cost airline Ryanair came in 5th from the bottom, just marginally better than the worst of the worst – Bulgaria Air.
You can read my recent review of Ryanair here.
